Almost two years ago, I transitioned from Senior Editor at Gilt to Serious Eats' Marketing Director. At Serious Eats, I oversee the branded content program, from pre-sale ideation to post-sale content production. Together with the sales team, I come up with exciting programs for a wide variety of brands, bringing their products to life with engaging copy, beautiful imagery and videos. My goal is always to capture the attention of Serious Eats readers, bringing them the best content on the internet while also serving our partnering brands.
Along with my work with the sales team, I also manage Serious Eats' e-commerce program with Amazon and other affiliate networks. I developed the Serious Eats Commerce Team and create content that encourages Serious Eats readers to shop, helping us bring in revenue while also providing readers with educational and inspirational content.
Outside of Serious Eats, I eat and write as much as I possibly can. For four years, I was a food columnist for amNewYork, reporting on new restaurants and food trends. I have also contributed to an assortment of publications, from New York Magazine, Time Out New York, Refinery29, and Bon Appetit to Vox, Afar, Today.com and Tasting Table.
In 2013, to further my food knowledge, I attended the Institute of Culinary Education. Days at my desk and evenings in the ICE kitchen taught me to hustle, the value of patience and how to face new challenges with enthusiasm.
